Technology for students with disabilities As the world mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3, there is a great need to develop strategies to remove barriers to learning and participation for all children, including those with disabilities. Students with disabilities have the right to receive appropriate educational services that would enable them to have full equality of opportunity like normal. One of these services or opportunities is the use of technology throughout their education. The use of technology to enhance learning is an effective approach for students with disabilities. Technologies such as tablets, online platforms, computer software and other technology should be available to students with disabilities. Assistive technology is used to help students with cognitive problems and physical impairment .For example a student who has problems in reading can listen to audio books.
