ROLE OF EDUCATORS IN BRIDGING PERFORMANCE GAPS BETWEEN PRESENT AND DESIRED FUTURE

Educators are effective contributors to the organizational goals. Organizational learning in educative environment occurs when educators respond more effectively to the positive learning outcome related stimulus than they did in the past. Proactive and creative approach of the educators encourages students to explore innovative solutions/strategies. Learning happens best in the context of organizational cultures that value growth, openness, trust and risk taking. As educators, we have to inculcate the following characteristics in the organization for regenerative climate.

a.Systems thinking: Educators perceive the learning environment as a system of interrelated processes.

b.Shared vision: Belief and professional commitment towards a goal deeply desired by all.

c. Personal mastery: Continual learning and personal growth by all the educators in the organization.

d. Team learning: Educators openly communicate across departmental and hierarchical boundaries to learn from each other. Decreasing the need for personal wins in order to the truth for the good of the entire team.
