In this assignment you will be learning how to use a 3D game design tool called Kodu from Microsoft Research. The goal of this project is to learn how to use the map creation tools as well as how to add and program the objects in the game. You are not creating a full game at this point you are simply trying to understand how to use the tools. Because there are no expectation of clear objectives, rules or scoring this project is a simulation instead of a game.
Kodu can be used with an Xbox 360 controller or a keyboard and mouse. The 360 controller must be the USB Controller type intended for use with a PC. It is recommended that you use a controller if available.
Get to Know the Software (Explore on Your Own)
