This is an innovative research Project through which 27, 9th grade students, identify a social problem, within their community. They performed an action research, applying the scientific method in rigorous and stimulating manner, upon that social problem or situation.
Ninth- Grade Math and History courses were integrated using PBL strategies. The researchers documented the procedures and findings using Microsoft technology. This information was required to be digitalized and published in binders; then exhibited in large Project Boards and Power Point Presentations were all designed info-graphs were exposed. As a closing of the project students were required to create action plans taking into consideration the findings in their research.
